[AD Shofar] 미얀마 정치범 권익단체와 퇴역 교도관들은 코로나19 확산을 막기 위해 정치범과 노약 수감자를 석방해야 한다고 밝혔다.
정치범 권익 단체 위원장 Mr. Tun Kyi는 미얀마 정부, 국방부, 내무부는 코로나19 확산을 막기 위한 조치로 수감자를 줄여야 한다고 강조하였다.
정치범으로 징역을 받았던 변호사 Mr. Khin Maung Myint는 교도소들이 수용인원의 2배가 넘는 상황이라 코로나19 발생이 되는 순간 통제 불가능 상태가 될 것이라고 밝히며 수감자 수를 줄여야 한다고 설명하였다.
