[뉴라이프] 2018년 2월 3일 멜리아 호텔에서 미얀모어 어워드가 개최되었다. MyanMore는 미얀마 라이프 스타일 정보를 공유하는 잡지사로 영문 주간지, 월간지를 발간하고 있다. 미얀마에서는 최초로 월간지 MYANMORE를 출간에 맞춰 매달 양곤 주요 식당에서 론칭 파티를 하면서 대표적인 소셜 네트워킹 파티를 만들었다. 매년 [미얀모어 시상식]을 개최하면서 미얀마 요식업체의 객관적인 평가 기준을 만들고 있으며 많은 식당에서 시상을 하기 위한 홍보 활동을 하고 있다. 2018년에는 시상 분류를 보다 간소화하여 5개 부문에 대해서 549개의 업체중에서 5,000여명의 온라인 투표와 심사를 통하여 선별하였다. 또한 한인 단체에서 초청된 VIP도 참석하였다.
